If you have immediate concerns about the safety of a child or young person you should call 999 and speak to the police.
For any other concerns about the wellbeing of a child or young person, you can speak to the Initial Point of Contact (IPOC) team. They will ask you to complete a safeguarding Early Help Assessment (EHA). The Safeguarding EHA is the same as the Early Help EHA and uses the Signs of Safety and Wellbeing framework to structure the information you need to gather to help IPOC determine the level of risk to the child and the next steps to be taken.
