BlindAid

BlindAid has over 180 years of experience of delivering emotional and practical support to blind and visually impaired people aged 18 and over living in the 12 inner London Boroughs and the City of London.
Our core service is our Community Sight Support service; we also provide Community Projects where people can attend free classes. We offer grants to support independent living (subject to criteria). We also run fortnightly Coffee Events in Tower Hamlets and Southwark.
Our enthusiastic outreach team is dedicated to working alongside our Service Users offering friendly company and conversation as well as information and links to other useful organisations. We aim to improve quality of life and to promote independence.
All our services are provided free of charge for our Service Users.
