Healthwatch Wandsworth is all about local voices being able to influence the delivery and design of local services. Not just people who use them, but anyone who might need to in the future.
Healthwatch make sure that the overall views and experiences of people who use health and social care services are heard and taken seriously at a local and national level.
- have powers to ensure the consumers' voice is heard by those who make the decisions;
- tell government bodies and local authorities in England about their findings; and
- report to Parliament every year.
Healthwatch can also ask the health and social care regulator, the Care Quality Commission, to take action when there are special concerns.
