DCR, WAND and WAND+ Summer 2019

There are a range of activities taking place in this summer at Battersea Park, including GoApe, Recumbent Bikes and Putt in the Park. All the latest offers and information will be posted here.

If you need to drive you can park for free in the car parks using your WAND or WAND+ card wallet. 

WAND card holders can then visit the Zoo for free, hire a couple of London Recumbent's Bikes for free or enjoy 40% off at Putt in the Park's mini golf family fun.

WAND+ card holders can hire a couple of recumbent bikes and can Go Ape too.

On Tuesday 20th August there are 46 free Go Ape Sessions for WAND and WAND+ card holders from 9 to 9:45 am; booking will open at 08:50pm tommorrow.

  1. 32 Tree Top Adventurers from 9am to 9:45 am on Tuesday 20th August.

     2. 14 at 9:00am for the Tree Top Challenge on Tuesday 20th August.

Please note that we always have overwhelming demand for Go Ape sessions, we have 1,100 DCR members but 46 free tickets which get booked almost instantly, but we will have more free sessions over the summer. Also if you have already been this year please do not book again so other children have a chance. We may cancel you booking if you have already been. There will be one more Go Ape session after this one.

  • can contact the team to discuss joining the Disabled Children's Register and applying for a WAND card if you are 0 to 17 years old with a disability or special educational need (SEND) and live in Wandsworth.
  • or contact the team about joining the WAND+ scheme if you are 18 to 24 years old, have a SEND and live in Wandsworth.
