Wandsworth Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) - single point of access, is a single point of referral providing access to help for children and young people in Wandsworth up to the age of 18 years, who may have mental health needs.
The service is made up of experienced mental health professionals and aims to be responsive and accessible to families, as well as those professionals who are working with, or are concerned about a child or young person.
The service will accept referrals:
- of children and young people up to their 18th birthday
- who are registered with a Wandsworth GP and

- who present with psychological and well-being needs.
The principles of the Service are to offer each child or young person a service which provides earlier intervention and detection of difficulties, through direct assessments and conversations with those who know the child or young person best.

This includes Wandsworth Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). The service can provide consultancy to professionals in relation to young people with whom they are working.
This service is for young people who may be:
- experiencing difficulties with Mood or worries finding it hard to cope
- struggling with their behaviour,
- having thoughts and feelings that affect their sense of well-being.
