Time to Prepare-a guide for young people with disabilities and special needs
This is a new, updated draft guide to preparing for adulthood in Wandsworth for young people with disabilities and special needs.
Young people, from Year 9 onwards should be starting to think about this and discuss their future plans as much as older young people, as they near the time to leave school.
Topics covered include:
- What does preparing for adulthood mean?
- Time to Prepare
- Where will I live?
- What will I do?
- Having fun
- Staying in touch with friends
- Who can help me?
- Are you on the right path?
- Are the right people involved?
- Following your goals
- Life is a journey
We have also made a wiki about this topic, which you can see by clicking on the link below.
