Support for Parents/Carers of of children and young people in Wandsworth with a mental health diagnosis

Wandsworth Carers' Centre now offer specialist support to parents and carers of children and young people in Wandsworth with a mental health diagnosis. 

The services now offered include:

  • specialist information and benefits advice,
  • one to one support,
  • complementary therapies such as massage and osteopathy,
  • counselling, information events, support groups. 

The Carers' Centre work with Carers who are not paid for what they do. They have two offices; 181 Wandsworth High Street and 46 Balham High Road.

Parents/Carers can include relatives or family friends who play an active weekly role in supporting the young person with a mental health diagnosis.

If you are supporting someone by providing practical or emotional support, and live in Wandsworth, or care for someone who lives in the borough then the Centre is here for you.

The Centre offers:

  • benefit advice;
  • mental health support;
  • carers emergency support scheme;
  • substance misuse help; and
  • therapies such as massage and osteopathy.
