Ending Gangs and Youth Violence (EGYV)

The Ending Gangs and Youth Violence (EGYV) Team offers one-to-one support, group work and short courses for young people and young adults who are associated with but wanting to move away from gangs in Wandsworth.

This service is for young people or young adults aged 11-24 who are known to be in gangs, referrals are usually made via the Police.

The service offers:

  • home visits;
  • assessment and action plans to help the young person move away from gang culture; and
  • one-to-one and group support which addresses the specific needs of the young person, this could include support around education, training, peer and family relationships; and  access to short courses on preparation for  employment, enterprise, business mentoring etc.  

Referrals to this service are usually made via the Police.
