Continence Service - Free Nappies
If you have a disabled child who is aged 4 and over and still needs to use nappies your child can be assessed for eligibility to receive free disposable nappies from St Georges University NHS Foundation Trust.
In order to be eligible you need to:
- be assessed by our Continence assessor either in your own home or at school or at St Johns Therapy Centre
- be offered a choice of suitable products and given samples to try
- if approved, start receiving deliveries of your products from the NHS Supplier
- be reassessed yearly or on a needs basis
Your child can be referred to the service by your GP, Health Visitor, and School Nurse or as a self-referral to our team.
