Borough Early Intervention Team

The Borough Early Intervention Team provides one-to-one support, group work and positive activities for young people who are thought to be at risk of offending for the first time in Wandsworth.

This service is for young people aged 11-17 who are thought to be at risk of offending for the first time in Wandsworth.

The service offers:-

  • home visits;
  • assessment and action plans to prevent the young person offending;
  • one-to-one and group support which addresses the specific needs of the young person, this could include support around education, training, peer and family relationships as well as accessing youth provision and positive activities; and
  • training to professionals around crime prevention and gangs.

Referrals can be made by an individual, family, school, the police and other agencies working with young people and families.
