Deaf Children, Young People and Family Service

This community and outpatient service offers assessment and treatment to deaf children and young people (aged up to 18 years) and their families, and hearing children of deaf adults in the Community who are experiencing emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties.
The conditions that the team cover are:
- anxiety disorders in children; and
- social anxiety disorder (social phobia).
This service provides the only family therapy clinic specifically for deaf people and can be accessed by professional referral.
