Child Abuse Investigation Team

The Child Abuse Investigation Team (CAIT) investigates allegations of physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse and neglect toward children and young people under 18 involving family members, carers or people in a position of trust.

Anyone who has a concern or crime to report can contact the team.

The service offers:

• A safe and comfortable environment for victims or witnesses to report crimes
• Confidential advice
• Talks on child abuse
• Close links with Children's Specialist Services
