Oakdene Sunday Clubs at the George Shearing Centre

*** Due to the COVID-19 / Coronavirus panademic services may be restricted, cancelled or re-scheduled online. Please contact the provider directly for more information before attending a service.***
Two monthly Sunday clubs for children 2 to 11 years old with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) and their brothers and sisters are run at the George Shearing Centre.
If your child is eight or under, there will be a session from 10.15am – 12.45pm; if your child is nine and over, their session will be 1pm – 3.30pm. These play sessions are only up to the age of 11. Once your child is twelve, there will be a new play session held by Generate.
For those families that have siblings who would like to attend the sessions, and their ages are crossing over both groups, please call Sabrina Marshall, Deputy Manager of Oakdene, to discuss the most suitable session.
Before your child or children can attend there is a form (attached) that needs to be completed, saved and emailed to Sabrina. This is to ensure she and her team have the basic information needed in order to meet your child’s needs while they are at the club. Once they have received this form, your child/rens' places will be either confirmed on the play session, or if all places are full, put on the waiting list.
You will meet Sabrina on the first session when you bring your child.
The George Shearing Centre is fully accessible with access to a fenced garden.
