CATS Parents/Carers Support Programme from Contact

Contact’s Autism Training Sessions "CATS" is a 7 week course they have developed for families with children aged 0 to 5 years with a diagnosis of Autism. It helps families to understand their child’s diagnosis and how they can best support them.
It is only available to families that have just been given a Multi-Disciplinary Assessment (MDA) assessment – so your MDA team needs to refer you.
The six sessions, plus one home visit cover a variety of topics such as: sensory needs, communication, what is Autism and understanding behaviour.
