Looking After Me (LAM) Course
This is a free course from the Expert Patients Program for adult carers with long term health conditions, or whose health is affected by their caring role. It is led by trained tutors who have experience of caring for a relative.
The course supports carers making time to look after their own health needs and take more control of their situation.
The course looks at:
- relaxation techniques;
- dealing with tiredness;
- healthy eating;
- coping with depression;
- communicating with family, friends and professionals; and
- planning for the future.
