Talk Shop at Chesterton Children's Centre

Talkshop is a walk-in session available for parents and carers to bring their children if they have concerns about speech, language or communication development.

Meet with the Speech and Language Therapy team on a one-to-one basis for a short play-based assessment and advice session. Therapists can offer support with queries on: attention and listening skills, play, understanding, talking, multilingualism and speech sound development. This service is available to children aged 0-3.

Parents and carers can:

  • meet the Speech and Language Therapist
  • get speech and language advice
  • drop in for information.

There is no need to book, just drop in.
