Chesterton Centre for Children and Families
Chesterton Centre for Children and Families shares a campus with Chesterton Primary School and offers a full range of drop-in and appointment-based services for local families with children aged 0 - 4 years. Partners we work with include an NHS health team, special needs support from 'Contact', Speech and Language Therapists and Educational Psychologists. We also run a wide variety of play-based learning sessions.
We have a 4-strong team based full-time at the Centre which consists of a Centre Manager, an Administrator and 2 Family Development Workers. The team is supported by play support workers, parent and community volunteers and a wide range of other agencies and professionals.
The last Children’s Centre ‘Contact’ drop-in this academic year will be on July 7th between 1:30pm – 3:30pm.
