Early Years / Special Educational Needs Inclusion Fund - Info for Providers and Parents

This Early Years Inclusion Fund / Special Educational Needs Inclusion Fund (EYIF / SENIF) is for 2- and 3- and 4- year olds who are taking up their Early Years funded entitlement. This fund is available to ensure the inclusion of children with emerging needs in early education.

All early years providers who are eligible to receive funding for the 2- 3- and 4-year-old early education entitlement are also eligible to receive support from this inclusion fund.

The maximum amount that can be applied for per child:

  • For 2-year olds: £2000 per term
  • For 3- and 4-year olds: £1000 per term (please note, the EYIF / SENIF is not available for children in reception classes)
