HAIL (Haringey Association for Independent Living)
HAIL is an association that helps adults from 18 upwards with learning disabilities. It provides a range of services in Wandsworth. Travel support, care and support services and Comic Club are for people who qualify for help from the council for their care and support. Employment support is for anyone with a disability.
- Travel support: Wandsworth Travel Mate is a council-supported service providing travel support. Usually accessing day services from home-centre and centre-home and also individual activities.
- Care and support services: These include activity and community support, personal care, professional care and specialist care. There is also an outreach support service
- Employment support: Free employment support for people with autism, a learning disability or a physical disability. Help finding work, starting a social enterprise, benefits and money advice, supported employment, and more.
