Children's Community Speech and Language Therapy is now open again to Routine New Referrals. 

Due to COVID 19 we will be using Attend Anywhere (a secure web based platform) predominantly and seeing a few clients face to face, .    You will be contacted by our admin team or a speech and language therapist if you have been referred or have an appointment for your child to be reviewed.

Speech and Language therapists work with children and young people who have speech and language impairments and difficulties. Therapists work across a range of areas to diagnose and treat these conditions.

This service is for children and young people aged 0 to 16 years. 

The speech and language therapy service offers help with:

  • Feeding and swallowing
  • Social communication
  • Selective mutism

The team provide support for families and staff from a variety of settings, so that they can help the child to reach their full potential in their everyday lives.
