Richmond Fellowship

The Richmond Fellowship is a national organisation that supports people with mental health problems. They are a charity and social landlord that aims to help people with a mental health problems lead independent lives. They provide support with the following:
- Employment services, including finding suitable work, training, volunteering or education opportunities
- Work experience and training in a supportive environment; this may involve a programme of work-based, creative and social activities for people who are not yet ready or are too unwell to enter mainstream activities
- Supported housing, registered care homes and care homes with nursing support
- Community-based services and day services, including floating support teams
Richmond Fellowship helps people with complex needs and chaotic lives, where their mental health problems may be coupled with substance misuse, social isolation, homelessness, abusive relationships, poor job prospects or lack of basic education. There’s also an ongoing drive to provide more support for people in the community rather than in hospitals. Social inclusion is at the core of their philosophy.
