Miss Linsey Flores

Hello, I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Furzedown.

I live with my partner and our 5 beautiful children in Tooting sw17 area for 10 years within the Furzedown community. As you will probably realise I have a vast amount of experience with looking after children, not to mention 11 years as a maternity NHS assistant.

We have a lovely home with a back garden where the children can eat and play various out-door activities which will help in all the 7 areas of learning. I have a bright, spacious beautiful setting where all 7 areas of learning, play and development can be achieved for children to develop and feel at home. The setting has been designed to enable the children to excel in a happy, comfortable, safe and enjoyable atmosphere that will allow them to be creative in their own way.

I also live close to local parks, Furzedown park and Tooting Bec Common. The Tooting area has a good range of soft playgroups, music playgroups and the local library which I attend on a weekly basis, all of which helps with the children's personal, social, emotional, communication, language and physical skills.

I enjoy being outdoors and believe children benefit a lot from exploring and feeling adventurous and getting messy in wider outdoors.

In my household, I aim to provide a wide range of learning and developments in a way we always make plans for children to be active outdoors and indoors mentally and physically for them to be stimulated with fun games, making exciting artwork and reading and writing, and helping one another in learning different life skills for everyday living to enable children of all backgrounds and abilities to develop and learn through play in a caring, supportive way.

I am a childminder because I am passionate about setting a stable foundation for children and I fully understand the importance of learning through play and support children and appreciate that each child is unique. All children should be treated with respect and be shown and learn from a positive role model.

MY LOCAL SCHOOL TO DROP-OFF AND PICK -UP IS ONLY:
