DanceAbility with Yoga and Stretch

Please come along and join us for our Disability Dance sessions taking place at the George Shearing Youth Centre in Battersea. The sessions take place across the year and are geared for boys and girls aged 6-18 of all abilities.

We have two sessions available running through term time please see Disability Sport : Enable ( for dates and booking information.

10am-10.45 am U18s with  SLD  maximum 6 places available

11am-12.00pm  U18's with MLD and PD

Please see flyer attached for dates this term.

We have an excellent instructor and volunteers who are very experienced in teaching children with disabilities and are key to what makes the sessions popular. The instructor is fluent in BSL and uses different forms of communication to ensure that everyone is involved.

Our session is a mix of Dance and Movement, yoga and sensory experiences using different themes and materials to build the session.

We have recently added an element of Yoga to the sessions to provide a variation of activity throughout the sessions as well as allow a period of relaxation for the participants after an energising dance session.
