Time: 16:00 - 17:00

Speaker: Joanna Grace - discussion on capacity in context, encouraging a wider perspective on different brains and notions of capability.

Topic:

Join us for a discussion with Sensory Engagement Specialist Joanna Grace as she explores the notion of capacity in context. Is there a place where different brains are enabled? A place where brains that belong to people ordinarily considered to be capable, become disabled? How can we understand the sensory processing differences some people experience and what can we do to enable them to find a sensory landscape where their innate capacities are revealed?

Joanna Grace is a Sensory Engagement and Inclusion Specialist, Author, Trainer, TEDx speaker and the Founder of The Sensory Projects. Joanna is working to contribute to a future where people are understood in spite of their differences. The Sensory Projects run on the principle that with the right knowledge and a little creativity inexpensive resources can become effective sensory tools for inclusion.
