Aleksandra Hopper

I am registered childminder and have been since January 2014.  I live just off Falcon road, very near to Clapham Junction train station. It's a great location with good transport links.

I have been working as a nanny and maternity nurse over the past 12 years and I can provide excellent refrences.

I hold the following qualifications :

BA (honours) in childhood and youth studies, Maternity Practioner, Foundation degree in Early Years and First Aid along with a CRB.

Our flat was  finished and fully redecorated just before the birth of my son 36 months ago so everything, including the toys and all resources, is new, nice and clean.

I like structuring my day and planning activities to stimulate children and organising fun outings. I tend to keep flexible routine to give children security, stability and fill their day with fun.

We enjoy lots of fun activities as well as plenty of free play and children are always encouraged to express their thoughts and wishes. Our home is filled with laughter and my son has inherited my sense of humour and high spirits. Our days are full of joy, happiness and music.

I communicate with parents and set up the day according to the childrens' needs. If a parent informs me that they have had a bad night we take it easy that day and provide the child with gentle support and plenty of rest. Same goes if they are a bit under the weather. The activities are adjusted to fit all ages and gender but most importantly to the child's individual abilities.

Learning journals are available for every child and they are a lovely reminder to see how the children grow and develop and for parents to have an insight into their child's day with us.

I have a vacancy opening from 1st of May 2016 for one child under 5 either full or part time .

One child under the age of 5. Priority goes to the younger ones - we would love to have a new baby joining in. As my son goes to Sacred Heart I can not offer any school drop off and pick ups at other schools other than Sacred Heart.
